Personal Information Protection Policy

  • The Company (hereinafter referred to as “Company”) values personal information of users and complies with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. The Company sets the Privacy Policy to inform the users of purpose and method of personal information provided, and measures taken to protect the personal information.

Any amendment on the Privacy Policy will be announced to the Notice (or individually notified) in the Company website.

This Privacy Policy shall be effective from September 06, 2007.

The Company collects following personal information for sign-up, consultation, service application, etc. :

  • - Collected Items : Name, date of birth, sex, login ID, password, home address, mobile number, occupation, resident registration number
  • - Personal Information Collection Method : Sign up via website (member sign up), phone call, and FAX.

Company utilizes collected personal information for following purposes :

  • ① Membership Management
    • - Identification for using membership service, authentication, prevention of abuse and unauthorized use by delinquent member, confirmation of sign-up intention, age identification, and complaint handling.
    • - After accomplishing the purpose of collecting and using personal information, Company destroys the personal information without delay.
  • ① Destruction Procedure
    • - After accomplishing the purpose of collection, the information provided for sign-up, etc., is transferred to a separate database (separate document box in cases of paper) and destroyed after storing for a certain period pursuant to internal policy and other grounds of information protection (refer to Period of Retention and Use).
    • - The personal information transferred to the separate database is not used for purposes other than the retention purpose, unless otherwise required by the law.
  • ① Destruction Method
    • - The personal information saved in the form of electronic file shall be deleted by using unrecoverable technical method.
    • - Company does not provide personal information of User externally in principle.
    • - Provided, Company may provide personal information for following cases :
    • - When it is agreed by User in advance
    • - When it is required by the law or requested by investigation agencies pursuant to legal procedure and method for investigative purpose

Company does not entrust personal information to an external agency without consent.

If necessary, Company will notify the entrustment agency and entrustment details. If necessary, Company will obtain a prior consent.
User may access or edit his or her personal information and request membership withdrawal at any time.

To access and edit the personal information, click “Change My Information” (or “Edit My Information”). To withdraw, click “Unregister” and complete identification procedure to view, edit, or withdraw membership.

You may also contact personal information manager in writing, call, or email, and personal information manager will take a measure without delay.

When User requests correction of error in his or her personal information, Company does not use or provide personal information until it is corrected. When wrong information is already provided to Third Party, Company notifies the correction results to Third Party without delay to correct the wrong information.

The personal information withdrawn or deleted by the request of User is processed pursuant to “Period of Retention and Use,” and the processed personal information cannot be viewed or used for other purposes.

To protect personal information and handle complaints relevant to personal information, Company designates relevant department and personal information manager as follows :

  • You may report the person in charge of personal information management or department in charge of the all personal information protection-related complaints arising from using the website service. The Company will provide a prompt and sufficient feedback for the report.
